I'll start with some advice of what kind of gear and from where you could/should get it,this is for anyone who just dinged 60.

As for bad boys,who are pretty much OP geared,there's actually a hybrid spec which will allow you to keep Hot's up all the time and actually cast Healing Touch pretty fast if Nature's Grace proc.

As for your Spell on pve,in Wow Classic,druids do the most healing on a raid if he know how to do it
WE never do Healing Touch unless Nature's Swiftness is on cd and the tank is under 20%HP.
All we do is to keep Hot's up ,try to never use Regrowth due to mana burning +lots of agrro if you're 51 resto!
If you really want to do a Healing Touch,makes sure it's a 2.5 sec cast or lower.
Your innervate it's one of the most important spell you got,use it only on critical time or help a guild mate if he needs it .
