Overview
Classic Focus is and Addon that allows you to set a focus. You can then cast directly on the focus or target the focus with a simple macro.

Usage

Setting your target as your focus.
Code:
/focus
Setting a name as your focus.
Code:
/focus Ragnaros
Clearing your focus
Code:
/clearfocus
Casting on your focus
Code:
/fcast Heal
Targeting your focus
Code:
/tarfocus

Known Caveats
This addon attempts to target your focus by name.  If, for example, you set your focus to a trash mob and there are many of them with the same name it may not cast or target on the mob your expect.

Does that mean you have to make macros for every spell you wanna use on your focus target?

i guess /focus makes u target your closest enemy ,this would be a charm for dpsers on which targets to focus on during AoE where Mobs cannot be CC'd.Nice Work.

/clearfocus obviously doesn't work. At least for me.

Sorry to post after so much time, I just tried the addon. It works, I can set focus, I can attack focus, and I can clear focus. But just once.
The problem is that, when I set the focus on another mob, then I try to attack the new focus, instead of attacking the new focus, it will attack the old focus.

Probably that's why Frozzen said /clearfocus doesn't work.
/clearfocus does work (/tarfocus will correctly prompt you that you have no focus), but when you select another mob as focus, you focus on the previous mob again. Even after killing the old focus, you still can't set a new focus.

I have an addon that uses the same exact commands as"Classic Focus" called  "FocusFrame" for 1.12.1, I'm guessing it is the same addon but with different names
