If we got a US GM. and he abuses his position, what would you do?
I would have fucking hired me, but nevermind that.
Instead, I would do the polar opposite of whatever our current application process is.
Be friendly, serious, only allow people to give feedback if their veterans, and staff cannot ignore threads because ultimately THEY should be doing the feedback and the questions. Not us.
You can always hold their hand (like your supposed to do) for the first couple of weeks and make sure they dont abuse - and make sure they understand what will happen if they try to. I doubt Z watches the logs EVER that's why he won't give commands to anyone because he doesn't care enough to sift through it.
Our GM's here hire someone new and act like they can retire for a few months. That's not how it works, guys.
