Whilst I'm off work 8+ hours daily, when I am back at work 4-5 hours at night on work days and 8+ on days off.

Q6. How much time each day do you spend on WoW, on the forums or in-game?

It's my favourite pass time/lobby so a lot of my free time is spent on WoW.

Q7. Have you played Retail? If so, for how long?

Started in 2005 and played up to cataclysm and then I started to play private servers because retail wasn't going in a direction I liked.

Q8. Tell us a little about yourself.

My name is Aaron, I live in the UK. I'm a big football fan (soccer) and have supported Liverpool all my life, WoW is pretty much the game I have always played and always loved.

Q9. Have you had previous experience as a Gamemaster? If yes, please explain.

Yes on a MoP server called Pandashan, I was second in charge as GM/Forum Manager, I was with them for about 1 year and then moved on to play vanilla servers. I was really active and a well like GM. I kept professional at all times but would still interact from time to time with the community just to keep things fresh and to almost have that bond with everyone, and generally have a laugh with players like Blizzard did in the early days of Vanilla.

Q10. Explain why you think you would be a good Gamemaster.

As I said above I am always professional, understanding and I do not take sides, I like to solve a problem without having to issue bans, kicks, mutes etc, but if it comes to it I am still not afraid to do so. I bring a good vibe to a GM team since I am a great team player. I am constantly doing tickets because I like them to be done so it's all organised and any questions or queries that players may have I believe I could answer them with my vast game knowledge.

Q11. What interests you most about becoming a Gamemaster ?

I started the server in 2014 when it was a lot more active with players and GM's alike, I recently started playing again and have come to realise the community is slowly dying and the conclusion I came to is the lack in activity from the GM's, whether this be too people hacking to not following certain rules, I constantly see in world chat that people are hacking and nobody is doing anything about it.

Q12. Do you know WHAT a Gamemaster does? Please explain.

They're primarily peacekeepers, answering tickets, solving problems. They're there to moderate the server and to make sure everyone is having a good WoW experience, which is what intrigues me, if I could help a handful of people and allow them to have a better gaming experience that would make my day.

Q13. What do you think is the most important thing a Gamemaster can do?

Building a community, most GM's do not realise but a huge portion of the community look up to you, you have the power as a GM to create a amazingly beautiful community as VanillaGaming once had in it's early days, but unfortunately we have lost it, and I want to help get it back.

Q14. What will you do if a Player asks you for help?

Help them to the best of my ability and to ensure their issue gets resolved.

Q15. What will you do if you are unable to help?

Consult with other GM's/Dev's, if I do not know the answer I'm pretty sure the other staff members will.

Q16. Gamemasters always use correct English spelling and grammar. Do you?

Yes, it is my native language so I am fully fluent in English.

Q17. If an event gets out of control, how would you how would you handle the situation?

There's a number of things you could do but it also depends on the event, but like a said above, the community will listen to their GM's/Dev's/Admins regardless just because it is who they look up to, but resolving a PvP event where certain players aren't playing by the rules and just want to troll for example just teleport them out, easily done, if they run back to where you was then just freeze them if they're persistent, I don't believe in kicking or banning for anything like this it's just harmless trolling.

Q18. Have you ever committed any act of fraud or dishonesty? If yes, please explain.

No.

Q19. If you were going to submit a suggestion for us, what would it be?

Everything seems fine to my knowledge, the 1 thing I would probably do on the donation side is add a PayPal option because the ones you have at the moment are very temperamental and don't work 100% of the time.

Q20. What positive additions could you (or do you already) make to the server/Community?

I am a ticket bot, I never get off doing tickets until there's none left, my record on previous servers is 10 hours straight on a peak weekend doing tickets.

Q21. Professionalism, integrity, and honesty are required at all times. In what ways do these words describe you?

I am very professional I treat everyone equally including myself I never see my self better then another just because I'm a GM, I have strong morale principles like I said above I believe in equality for everyone, I never leave a man behind and last but not least I am a very honest person.

Q22. Have you ever been disciplined by a Gamemaster on VanillaGaming?

No.

Q23. What can you do to help the server grow?

Like I said above I want to help the community first and hopefully in time it can grow and thrive. But as it is now the server is dying and I remember VG having a very strong and resilient community, I don't know what happened but we need it back.

Q24. What is your definition of teamwork?

I work very well alone, but I can also work very well in a team if prompted, most of the time I will come on if I see anyone I will see hello of-course, but when I log on my GM account I am purely there to clear problems, tickets and resolve issues.

Q25. Is there anything else that you would like the Staff to know?

I've only just started playing again but if there is any old GM's left then I know how good you guys are at your jobs, dust yourselves off and get back on it, what I am hearing now is a lot of negativity about the staff members and I want to change that around so that we can rise to our former glory.
