what do you like/dislike about it?
dislikes - harder bosses, invis pots break after you mount (before they didnt), had to get an addon for Target's health (only shows % rather than health), and some others, world chat is combined, Cenarior Circle in Silithus mobs respawn every minute. impossible to solo rep grind as SPriest with ok gear.
likes - cross faction chat but needs a separate channel for allies/horde, and only show "0" when /who on a cross faction person. otherwise you can gank him by tracking him/group easily.
maybe allow cross faction invites to group. so once you're in raid > allies and could raid together.
that's all i could think of now.

So i personally voted on the 3rd option that yes the new core is good but deffantly some changes should be made.
Biggest one of all is mats so herbs,ore,juju,fish etc pritty much everything related to consumables, i think that VG always was good that you could get to raiding and have cons and it was prittty chill to get never really felt like you had to sell your soul jst to farm your cons.
Another point i would also like to put on the matter is with the limited player base atm having cons abit more accessable would help a long way with player retention.
Now we have mechanics working more as they where inended pair that with cons that are a tad bit less time consumin to get and you have a winning combination.

In my opinion, server needs to be as closest as blizzlike as possible.So please, dont add increased rates for loot,gold,plants,quest items etc. Leveling rate should be 1x(without 5x and 15x by any means) because in this version of the WoW leveling was very important experience. PvP and PvE are now scripted properly, arent they, thats fine. And last thing...I'm not big fan of server shop ,donation and voting rewards, we shouldnt have shop at all, but it's ok, I'm aware the server has to make some profit, even Blizzard is making profit from it's customers.

the reason people play on vg and myself now that i dont have time is that there are/was quality of life things that removed alot of the monotony this core is great for raids i mean zg is no longer boring aq has some nice mechanics onyxia is a bit buggy spamming fireballs conflagging the raid all day i have yet to see other raids so this core is a hit and miss thing now that the nodes are higher thats a good thing to have back it cuts down farming time i have yet t farm cloth but it seems the drop rates were lowered tho i dont mind farming mobs quests work nice and have great scripts like the ony attunement chain respeccing is locked to 50g on my warr that just got unbanned to respec it i had to pay 50g on my paladin i have only respecced once since i returned is 50g lowering this may be a nice thing to have thats all i have for now

you stumbled across the wrong server. the new core ruined a lot of things to begin with. now you wanna go full blown 100% blizz like like classic. but this is why many come here. easy leveling and then grinding at 60 like the real game. if this is implemented, it could actually increase the people here, or kill the pop even further. cuz i know 1x/everything blizzlike servers attract the most people. |

you stumbled across the wrong server. the new core ruined a lot of things to begin with. now you wanna go full blown 100% blizz like like classic. but this is why many come here. easy leveling and then grinding at 60 like the real game. if this is implemented, it could actually increase the people here, or kill the pop even further. cuz i know 1x/everything blizzlike servers attract the most people. im sure i didnt stumble to the wrong server i have been here for 10 years now and it was casual easy leveling easy raids easy dungeons easy rankings people complained about this so raids got harder dungeons got harder and people even asked for x1 leveling which is optional people kept complaining scripts scripts scripts so now we have a new core due to the constant complaining only thing is to deal with it now quality of life things are gone many of our fun little bugs are gone only thing left to do is either learn to play with this or leave and the good thing is zeard is taking feedback so how about just mentioning what you dont like of it and see if zeard fixes it in all my years here i have never seen zeard take feedback of the server so take advantage of that its usually sins who does that |

Being "best" at World of Warcraft doesnt mean nothing. Either being hardcore or semicore player doesnt make any difference. Completely up to you,will you decide to play 12 or 2 hours per day. Everyone has their own reasons for starting playing here on this server. Back to point,literally I was about to say : new core == new beginning, therefore we should strive to be as closest as blizzlike.Classic will not last forever, every single patch Blizzard has ever made didnt last forever and that is golden opportunity for VG to attract more people in the future. |
