Have you ever wondered how many wafers you need to eat to have eaten a full Jesus? Thankfully Reddit has the answers for everything.

The communion wafer is a dry product, so I used the dry weight of a Jesus, rather than the full weight.

Exacts weight isn't known but by all accounts Jesus was a skinny dude so using current 70 kg/ 154lbs as a base seems safe. The body of an adult male is is roughly 60% water by weight , and we could assume a divine body would be similar as we have no measurements of divine variation - so 28 kg of dry Jesus would be accurate enough."

A typical mass-produced communion wafer weighs in at about 0.25g3 - so you need to eat 112,000 wafers to consume one dry weight Jesus.

So assuming you attend mass twice on Sunday and take communion every time (so .5g consumed a week) we can say 1,076 years, and you'll finish it off a couple weeks into that year. (.92 remaining).

If you want whole weight, you'll need to add ~42L communion wine.
