"We cannot disallow use of this chest as one item added to (not existing now) "forbidden list" would require to prohibit all other items, such as Rocket Boots, which are also bugged and widely used (e.g. battlegrounds).
In conclusion, one forbidden item is going to result in all other being disallowed. Since such action would cause too big harm for the players, we are not going to prohibit use of these items, while waiting for the fix done by developers in the future."

No offense to the GMs but part of the problem here is that the current GMs do not PvP so they do not understand the effect some bugs have over others during battlegrounds. That being said, I want to bring attention to how wrong this decision is to allow items like the Green Whelp Armor in PvP. Its like you want people to purposely find the most bugged item possible and use it to their advantage.
Unlike Rocket Boots, which can be used by any race or class, the Green Whelp Armor is leather, immediately giving a disadvantage to clothies who cant used this bugged item. Furthermore this chest is only supposed to work on mobs LOWER THAN 50 making the Green Whelp Armor all the more wrong because it isn't supposed to work at all on mobs 50+ PERIOD.
Food for thought: Allow the PvP Community to give feedback for a new set of rules and a banned item list. In this scenario there would be limited blowback on the GMs because they would only be enforcing rules that were agreed upon. Also, players will always have a clear understanding of what is and isn't allowed as there would be a reference guide. Obviously, it make take a little while to perfect the new rules as not everything can be initially thought from the beginning.
Examples of abuse:
-Blinking up graveyard
-Hunter stealth pet
-MCing people so they get speed hack dc
-Invis pots to cap AB flags
-MC helm and vanishing
