Hey as a World Of Warcraft Vanilla player, i love Alterac Valley. In Alterac Valley. Back in the days, you could stay for hours! You always had that 1fkn guy you always met and he always killed you just after you finish'd a fight, outta no where he just happend to show up.  I miss this. The long matches. Increddiably long matches.

This topic is to all of you pvpers. If ur horde? Dont mather. if ur alliance its better Wink

Lets make an event? Every friday or saturday at 20.00 server time? Get an AV up an going! Getting tierd of WSG.

Shoot me a whisper ingame if you ever wanna pvp Wink   Ingame:Teddarius

Problem is that alterac is not even partially scripted properly, it is basically just a matter of who can rush to the leader and slay him fastest. AV here is nothing like on retail

Alterac Valley had been already trivialised before 1.12.1, which means the so called "zerg patch"  had already happened. No hard feelings bud...

In my experience a system message or two can have a huge outcome on getting an AV going during peak times. Otherwise they are sometimes highly planned events hosted by a few guilds. AV is always a big deal when it pops, I wish there were more of them too.

There's very few people on VG who love pvp and do it daily. Yes there's players who grind rank14 but after that they might do a battleground here and there.  Think of all the players you remember getting r14 and think when the last time you saw them in WSG. That is why AV rarely runs.

AV is ONE of my fondest moments of playing retail. That's where I had a wolf on a Tauren back when it was the only way possible. I played countless hours of AV. I do miss it. Very much. The concept of feeling like I was in the middle of a MOBA, from first person perspective always really appealed to me.

I will try (with the help of GMs ofc) to host a weekly pvp event (2v2, 3v3 and who knows, 5v5) and after each such events we'll try to pop AV Smiley
