How to (try) become a GM in four easy steps.

1. Make fun of the Staff:

2. Be helpful for two weeks before writing application.
3. Submit application.
4. Make profit.
Please, there isnt a single soul on the server that hasnt made fun of Zeard, that shouldnt be any kind of merit/qualification for becoming a GM.

'4. Profit'
Explain.

-------------

+1, MCB deserves this and it should be given to him. The server needs it

haha.
This reminded me of how a conversation started with someone i had just met some time back
"Damn, what happened to you?"
"I don't know, what?"
"You look like you fell off a train. You're one ugly ass MF'er"

Btw the image everyone is posting is a repost of a clever image created originally by the famous Arthos - tauren druid. Because lets be honest, I'm not clever enough to make an image like that.

That being said I have to agree with the message conveyed in the image. I rarely see GMs intervene with the general public when they need it. I do, however, very often see GMs help their own in game characters guilds during raids. Today I saw a player complaining about being dead and falling through the world for about an hour while two other GMs were online on their in game characters just hanging out in Ironforge. Eventually the player figured out how to solve his own problem, as many players do.. but I would much rather have had him had his problem solved much quicker. I understand that often tickets are addressed unannounced to the general public. But it is painfully obvious that this is the exception rather then the rule.

Anyway, I've been gone for about a month for real life training, and I'm excited to be back.

Will continue to enjoy surprising once the cover has been turned and words begun to be read.
Peace

Well if a person has a character called "madcuzbad" it kind of gives you an idea about the fellow. And the impression isn't good. "The name is just a joke." You'd think that but when you know the person people are talking about it's just all arrogance and about getting into everybody's head.

+1 i think he would make great GM he can be alot of fun and at the same time he knows when to act professionaly. The thing I like about him is that he will interact with everybody even though he does not know you or you are new to the server so imo that is big quality Smiley

I retract my offer to represent this server.

Regardless of how (or even if this application was noticed by key VG staffers), I no longer feel as though my core values align with those of this gaming institution.

Thank you for your time and I appreciate the communities commitment to one another!

Better take off the proposal than get a denial so you can re-appeal later on.
