One of the things I remember from "way back then" when WoW was new was the low level (19) BGs and the twinking. Gearing up pre-20 with BiS gear was an art-form in itself as turning off xp gain is nonexistent on VG.

It would be great to see a low level twink community develop - cross faction coordination would ofc be required - with perhaps the possibility of setting aside set mutual times that we could compete. Once a week (more likely less - fortnightly/monthly) competitions could develop.

One of the side effects would be to see a lot of low level .setxp x1 players trying to gear up - there would suddenly be loads of low level dungeons available and people running them. Not everything is about end game content, and after all, have you ever really run them? Good for new players too if server veterans are running level appropriate dungeons.

This is a completely pie-in-the-sky thought, but equally would also be very interested in hearing any feedback players might have on trying to develop this further.

Twinks are only fun when there are plenty of non-twinks in the BG.

Back then you couldn't turn exp gain off anyhow.. Just change your xp rate to 1 and you can still make a twink

if i recall, it was decided that GM's would lock your xp gains only for twinking.
