Edit: Had the raid a proper loot distribution, I'd give it a shot.

Explain a 'proper loot distribution' in a pug other than a fair loot distribution

Well I mean, for example: BoEs can be normal roll for all I care, but DPS and heals that are the best according to a meter, after a boss fight, should have like +20 on their roll or something. Second +15 and so on and so on.

I'm sure if somebody put more thought on this matter, we'd get a real fine system.

So please, don't attend until the PuG raid leaders actually start paying effing attention.

My biggest issue with PuG's is exactly this. The leader doesn't pay attention to the loot and gives it to a class/spec that does not benefit from the item. If I could count how many idols I lost in ZG to people who claimed to have gear in their bank, etc. Nothing wrong with a /roll, just need to know who's actually receiving the loot. If you want to bring in the noob level of a toon that is overly subjective and a waste of time, the spec/class however is super important.

Nobody said there should be a item-received cap, just A system so that the players that do 1k DPs at Garr won't left stranded when items are given to players who actually do lower DPS than your auto attack.

I didn't say there would be, but it was mentioned so i was replying to it. There isn't a fairer way of handing out loot in a PuG.
If you aren't happy with loot rules in PuGs then join a guild instead.
