Question about paladin dps.

I've read the paladin guide, and I read about the dps section. It said that a spellpower based dps build becomes better once you have enough spellpower. It recommended using a one handed caster weapon, like Lok'Amir il Romanthis. I was wondering if it would be better to use a 2-handed weapon with spellpower, like  Fist of Cenarius. Wat do you say about that?

I would still go with a 1h sp wep like Lok'Amir or Runesword of the Red + an OH.This would give more spell power than fist of cenarius,also 2h are slow and we paladins use SoR.The faster our wep is(actually it should be no more faster than 2.0 sec)the more SoR dmg we do.

Makes sense; if I'm correct, the additional spell power causes X additional damage, which adds to the SoR damage, making fast weapons better. However, does this make up for the lower melee dps?

It does. Your white damage doesn't matter at all in this spec.
