Hey i was wondering what the server is on Tankadin (prot paladins)? i use to role one in actual wow, but when i was at lvl 80 i had a lot of people just tell me to be a Ret pally, because they needed DPS not a tank. so how does this community view tankadins, or should i just role Ret?

Serious guilds will not recruit a tankadin nor a ret pala. If your'e a pala in a serious guild, you best like healing boy.

For pve prot isn't very usefull, it works in most 5 mans when you grp isn't retarded and it's fun in pvp but for raiding it's not very helpful to have a prot pala in the group

A healer paladin will have the most success in joining a PvE guild in my opinion.. Paladins are bad tanks in Vanilla, you can't see any tanks from that class to tank 20/40 man raids. Nor DPS paladins, because they do way too low damage and they are mostly useful as a healer. So be a healer!

well yes, I was tanking too, as ret with full spellpower gear and no def stats you can keep aggro in raids. Your healers will love you for that.

I don't think Paladins can tank in 40 man raid , but in Strath/Scholo for sure. =P Also you won't be in top 10 dps meter with Retribution spec unless you're Joru.
