It's standard to post a picture of your guild next to the dead boss. Otherwise yall could've killed KT by now for all we know.

The fact that the mobs are alive means they never aggro'd so it's an exploit. In the logic of VG admins: they told me that we had to go aggro them if this happened as its up to the players to make sure vg's poorly scripted fights work properly and not them.

I've also thought of a couple ways to validate that they actually completed the dungeon. 1 way would be to have a GM actually in there watching (lets say its just a 2 team competition this would be fairly easy)

However if there are too many teams for GM's we could do something like have the groups have to fully exit (all 5 players) and count that as part of the timing. Then after all exit you check to make sure all the bosses required are killed.

Obviously if the team cheated by not killing all the bosses you would just check the next team that got out until you reach the first team that actually completed the objective.
These would be fairly easy to check especially if you had a GM to fly through the dungeon and check all the boss corpses.

Also would be fun to do a Deadmines run where you have people waiting at exit to check who the first one out is.

@Shin, I'm saying a large majority of this server is centered around PvE while you have a very small amount of people who pvp so I understand why there are events normally for PvP. However most people get tired of the PvP fast cause of the imbalance of gear (and yes VG bugs that is another good point).

So why not make a tradition of PvE events to cater to the actual community it has rather than a sparse PvP event where 40 t3 horde roflstomp 20 t3 alliance and 20 blue geared alliance then alliance gets disinterested super fast. (Why do they always start AV events at the end of chaos raidtime? lol)

Edit: Also I'm not saying kill pvp, I just want some PvE events for once. Obviously pvp'rs keep doing your thing.

Also continuing on the 5man dungeon racing, you could make it a monthly thing and have it be a different dungeon each month. Then you'll get people who practice the dungeon and helping new people get gear? Idk just a thought.

How come there are never any GM backed PvE events?

I mean let's face it. PvP isn't really this server's thing. You have about 20 people who play it all at different times so its pretty dead so I understand why there are events brought about to increase PvP. But I think the real reason nobody PvP's on this server is because vanilla PvP wasn't made for people in full t3 bursting everyone down instantly. Its comparable to URF in league where there is no balance and you either one shot or are one shotted. And it doesn't seem like people are up to making new characters with obscure rulesets on how you can gear it.

So how else do we bring out competition in everyone?

Why not make PvE focused events?
Make 5 man dungeon races, have teams sign up and have prizes for the team that wins.
Leveling challenges, Guild AQ40 races  pug BWL races. You could do something other than races but it would be a start and it would possibly bring more activity to the server.

I'm certain you'd get a big turnout for some of these if you put nice reward for the winning team like teebu's or a recipe thats annoying to get or even just reputation or some gold.

Thanks for keeping us on our toes Ayag. Made us even more determined to get some progression done tonight. Even got some attempts in on pw. Hopefully gonna see some pw, grobb, and gothik on Thursday!

Idk if you aren't already in a guild but join one! They are great for getting ZG's started. Also the reason idols are only up for t2+ rolls is because the server is comprised of two different types of players. Players in greens/blues, and players in Naxx gear.

So this makes sure that those who actually utilize the shoulder/pants enchant will get them. In some cases like mages/warlocks most groups will allow the idol to go to bloodvine gear since it is basically > most t2.

Anyway you're gonna find it hard to setup a run on the forums. Your best bet is with a guild Tongue

@Alionex, I agree with you. However I think it would be nice to make a kind of post w/the hall of fame for guilds that have downed KT (since it is a pretty big achievement).

@Kelseran I don't know if you have the time but it could look something like this.

Guilds that have downed KT
