It almost feels like your message was written with pain and tears. (you have no idea what a "hotfix means)

You wanna compete on the "I've been here since..." chapter? I've been here since release. (not that it helps with anything)

I know exactly what a hotfix means.  I also know exactly how quickly this problem will be fixed, and its the same length of time that it will take the other problems I mentioned to be fixed.  They won't be.

I didn't say the whole "I've been here..." shit to try and big dick you.  I said it to back up the(very simple) message I'm trying to convey:  Don't bother, you're wasting your time.

I hope that wasn't too complex for you to understand.  If it was, oh well, I can't be any more straightforward.

Even though charge is used in pve often, it is arguably much more useful for pvp scenarios.  Given this information, no, charge won't be fixed.  Ever.

Good day.

You have no knowledge of what you're talking about. This is a bug - therefore, fixable. My post is not a bug report, it's just a "heads-up" if you will.

That "Good day." killed me. It's nice to be self confident sometimes Smiley

If you think I was being serious you have a couple screws lose up top.  I've played here for close to five years and there are near gamebreaking PvP-centric bugs that have not been fixed in that span of half a decade.  As I explained, charge is more useful in PvP to a warrior than in PvE, as snares are their largest weakness in vanilla.  To think that this bug will be fixed, as it does not truly hinder the PvE progression of certain(one specific) guilds progression on this server, is asinine.

Keep trying, you'll be as jaded as I am soon enough(not really a good thing but better than tossing your computer out the window every 5 minutes due to falling through warsong, nade pushback, broken reflectors, broken succubus shadow lockout, broken pets, cheat engine disconnect, all reported since 2013, should I keep going?)

Once again, since you got such a big kick out of it:

Good day.

So you guys are allowed to give the guy your approval for becoming a GM, but you are talking trash to the people who do not support him in the matter. I do not belong in either group because I do not know the guy, but you can't talk trash to them because they don't support him.

If somebody came into this thread and said:  "Yeah, really not a fan.  He trolls in world all the time, treats people like they're beneath him, causes drama in guilds over loot, not reliable when we raided, thought his time was more valuable than anyone elses"

Then I really don't think people would object, at least they wouldn't really have a valid point.  Instead, this is what we are getting:

"Yeah, really hate this guy and never want him to be a GM.  He killed me in world PvP a few times, hes friends with people who I don't like, when he was in my guild he didn't respect my authority/opinions(even though he was a great raider/contributor on things that actually matter and add towards pve progression), he joined a guild that I despise but has never personally wronged me."

I dont know his life's story but Viile/MCB has been in multiple guilds in his time on VG.  From what I understand, every single guild that he has been a part of he has been a knowledgeable, reliable asset.

Theres a guy who applies for a job, has 99% of previous employers vouch for his character/work ethic/professionalism but theres 1% that dislikes him.  Oh, and for some absurd reason that 1% is CEO and can easily block the guy from getting a job because the applying guy ganked him in org a few times took CEO guy's parking spot once, like a year ago or something.  Really trivial and not a big deal whatsoever. This is the current situation.  I'm not claiming to be incredibly smart, but if a massive group of people who are respectable and leave personal biases aside(most of VG) vouch for one's character then a small group of people attempt to tear this person down using the "I don't like him, why?  Because I said so, that's why", I know which group I am placing my trust in. [/color]

What MCB did by leaving DP was smart, rational and reasonable. These are all adjectives that I'd love to use to describe a GM of VanillaGaming. It makes perfect sense - if you are confronted with something and cannot fix it, it is probably best to remove yourself from the situation.  Which is what MCB apparently did.  The ability to act level headed and remove yourself from a situation that is not advantageous for anyone is a quality of a mature person.

Let me be abso-fucking-lutely crystal clear here: Joining another guild aside from the one that you run does not mean that a player had disloyal qualities.

He is a close friend of ninjaasassin, and that should give you an idea of his personality and character.

Essentially, MCB, like Ninja did for so long, enjoyed a nice stroll or two late night in Orgrimmar.

<Cozmos>: Removed off-topic portion & colored text.  The topic of this thread is Viile, and no other person.  Posts which do not assist the Staff in making its decision are unwelcome.

I'll repeat what I said because after waking up and reading it I still think it's the best response to that egotistical twat's diarrhea-from-the-mouth post:

MCB, like the majority of this server, has zero problem respecting authority.
MCB, like the majority of the server, has a big problem respecting you.

Where you get the idea that those are one and the same is beyond me.

edit:  sorry for going off topic MCB, for you to become a GM I really feel that Sarek's voice needs to be drowned out of the conversation. I'll be quiet from now on but I hope others realize the guy is toxic for the server and will never help it grow properly.

Good luck.
10  Staff / GM / Dev Applications / Re: MCB / Viile GM Application on: March 20, 2015, 06:22:37 am
No.  Had him in my guild before.  He has what you could call a "problem respecting authority."  It would be foolhardy to entrust him with same.

He has another problem with respecting the duty of loyalty.  He joined with our enemies and had some good fun making mischief at our expense.

He is a close friend of ninjaasassin, and that should give you an idea of his personality and character.

I strongly recommend against giving this person any power.

could u suck any more

edit:  Well I actually feel like responding to this after rereading it.  You have this asinine notion that anybody that is "against" your guild is beneath you, and in some weird fucked up way can't be of any worth to the server.  If you seriously think that MCB shouldn't be considered for GM because he(from my interpretation of your words) killed you and/or your guildies in World PvP then your ego couldn't get any bigger.

You are not special because you lead a guild on a private WoW server.

You are not better than anyone because of the guild tag you wear.

Maybe MCB doesn't have a problem respecting authority.  Maybe he just has a problem respecting you, and I don't blame him one bit for it.

+1 for MCB for GM

Probably Kingdom Hearts/Golden Sun 1 and 2.  Damn those Golden Sun games were some of the best games I've every played.  I have a bit of a problem getting into single player games much anymore but The Last of Us was one of the best forms of entertainment I've ever encountered.
