Out of curiousity in your sword spec why would you want 1 point in Deflection rather than 1 in Lightning Reflexes? Parry procs more than it should? I know it's just a talent to unlock next tier and it is just a small help when solo just like Imp Gouge. But beside if there's a bug I don't know of then dodge > parry since you can also dodge when attacked from behind.
Miniscule chance for parry haste I am guessing.

I would test it myself but there to many factors to verify it that influence the damage outcome and there is no real weapon that has such a narrow min and max damage of only 1.

Or just use kick.

Well, it's the same formulas you'll find implemented ingame for the most part. People put lots of effort into figuring out the way damage is calculated, the only cases where you will find the spreadsheet and the ingame situation disagreeing would be
A. there's a bug ingame
B. lacking/faulty implementation of things in the spreadsheet (they usually mention those, Empyrean Demolisher says that the proc isn't being considered correctly for instance)

Edit:
Well I guess there's also
C. User input incorrect
For example, the spreadsheet assumes a physical damage modifier of 0.9 by default (aka damage reduced by 10%) which would be the case for a ~611 armor enemy which is still lower than what your average boss is at after sunder + faerie fire + curse of recklessness so your DPS estimates will usually be higher than what you will be able to pull off ingame

If theorycraft takes weapon skill into consideration and you don't have your sword skill maxed out right now, that could cost you some crit. Alternatively, the weapon you switched from had a little bit of crit on it already. At any rate, the spellbook tooltip should be more reliable.

Good thing they are down actually, judging by the fact that daggers and swords are still split it's a hella outdated version. The last version before TBC can be found here: http://www.gamefront.com/files/17806081
