31  Support / Feedback / Re: Admin double standards on: February 04, 2018, 01:08:00 pm
What about my first thunderfury? It was a grey area back then, everybody did it. When I realized that it was not fine to get tf through a grey area, I deleted my thunderfury MYSELF. That threw me back nearly a year of binding farming. And my guild went rampage because of that, since I messed up the prio list completely. Later on I had the chance to complete my tf again in a legit way and here I am.

And now you come at me and say I'm living a double standard? Are you joking? As you might not know, the TF I wear ingame now is my SECOND thunderfury already. I did it back then for transparency, knowing that some day some punks like you would come at me talking shit and trying to defame the staff.

Hi, what has happened exactly?
33  Community / General Chat / Re: Time for a update staff. on: February 03, 2018, 02:33:18 pm
We decided against just implementing the foreign core, since naxx and other important vg-scripts would be missing. That's why we wanted to implement VGs core features first and then do a big update.

I'd buy one proper system you can use if for video rendering too etc. And for future projects and so on. Buying three shitty machines to each run 13 clients... I dont think that you will be happy with that kind of setup.

Appeal denied. Logs are absolutely clear.

Did you even understand a single word of what I wrote? Cheesy

The CPU load overall is high, since windows shuffles the WoW-Clients to free threads on its own. Even if each individual WoW client only supports one at a time. For example if you got a quad core and you have 4 Clients open, Windows will automatically throw one client onto each core. Thats what you are seeing. Thats also why I recommended a Ryzen Threadripper for 40 clients.

The next thing is GPU load. I didnt speak about GPU load, thats obviously very little, since this game is old and ugly af. I spoke about the VRAM usage, which can be substantial if you add up 40 clients at max settings in 4k. Thats why I gave you the advise to run as little settings as possible. Smiley

Hope this clarification helps you understand the mechanics.

I'm pretty sure this "Zeard" person is either dead or the person that was "Zeard" no longer is "Zeard".

Oh, no worries mate.

In regards of the 4hm marks: They ignored los when 4hm went live. Its still defined like that in the db, though the script bugged out in regard of los, when Z had to touch things later on.

Related to the aspects listed in the main post: I consider all of those issues as bugs. If anyone uses these bugs to gain ingame advantages, thats called abuse and falls under the ordinary bug abuse rules.

Yeah a Ryzen would be better. A Threadripper would be much better. As the different clients get shifted to different cores by windows automatically. So if you have more cores, you will have better cpu performance over all the open clients.

Also, a gpu with a lot of VRAM is mandatory: The VRAM usage of each client stacks up on the main GPU that is installed in the system. Reducing resolution and level of detail to lowest helps to reduce VRAM usage. Though, 40 clients is a big number.

What about all the guilds bugging gothik?

Not allowed. Guild Masters and Raid leaders beware, you might be held accountable.
41  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Fix the Vote system please on: January 15, 2018, 03:31:06 pm
I can confirm: I disabled my 2 adblockers on all of those voting sites, before I entered the captcha. I used my regualr PC for this, not my mobile. I got 3 of 3 vote coins!

Yeah, me as well. This happens from time to time, when the votesite's coinback system is broken. Nothing we can do about it from our end.

The only chance you have is that recovery panel. Check all of your different mail accounts, including spam folder.

Just to be sure... Do you play with smallest viewing distance in the graphics settings?
Also, the classic wow client has only one single cpu thread. Are you sure that there is no singlecore performance bottleneck?
