New version up. A few new features. Significant bug fixes. Checkout the changelog in the addon for details.
3  Community / General Chat / Introducing GridEnhanced (beta) on: February 22, 2012, 07:18:13 am
Introduction
GridEnhanced is Grid but specifically maintained for 1.12. I changed the name so there is no confusion as to which version grid you're running. It is based on the original Grid backport that is available for 1.12. This is a beta and I wouldn't recommend using this for hardcore progression raiding until it's better tested.

Features
  • Range Checking
    • Integrated with normal Grid Status options
    • Frames change opacity
    • Adjustable Opacity
    • Adjustable Interval
  • Aggro Checking (Fixed)
  • Adjustable Frame Dimensions
  • Horizontal Healthbar option
  • Up to 8 letter player names
  • Resizable corner indicators
  • Debuff Icons

Known Issues/Caveats
    New menu options aren't localized.
    Range Check is fixed at 28 yards
    Requires Classic Mouseover 0.10 or above (If you're using Classic Mouseover)
    You tell me

Testing and Feedback
GridEnhanced is currently in beta. Any feedback and issues please post on this forum. I'm going to be very busy of the next few days and may not be able to get out fixes until later in the week.

Rogue addons plox!

I won't make any class specific addons, except for maybe hunters. If you need macro help that's different.

I'd suggest you start learning some basic scripting for the stuff you're trying to accomplish. You know the saying,

Quote
Give someone a fish and you feed him for a day;
Teach someone to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

What you're asking is doable but I think you're trying to do too many things with one button.

What you'd need to do to write a macro similar to this. I'm not gonna test it, i want you to figure out what it does and fix it if needed.

Code:
if UnitExists("mouseover") then
    TargetUnit("mouseover");
elseif ClassicFocus_CurrentFocus then
     SlashCmdList["TARGET"](ClassicFocus_CurrentFocus);
end
CastSpellByName("Viper Sting");
TargetUnit("playertarget");

Macro one line style
Code:
/script if UnitExists("mouseover") then TargetUnit("mouseover") elseif ClassicFocus_CurrentFocus then SlashCmdList["TARGET"](ClassicFocus_CurrentFocus) end CastSpellByName("Serpent Sting"); TargetUnit("playertarget");

Code:
/script TargetUnit("mouseover");PetAttack();TargetUnit("playertarget");

If you are not mousing over a target then your pet will attack your current target.

Only works for your hidden Bongos bars after you've made them visible then hidden them again when you log on. A bit annoying doing it every time you log in but I can live with it if it's hard to fix

New version up. Fix for bongos hidden bars.

First off, awesome addons! Second off, If you don't want to loose your target when casting a spell on your mouseover target this macro made the trick:
/cmcast Spell
/script TargetLastTarget()

Thanks again for this awesome addon !

New version up that does this by default. It was already in the code i just didn't have it enabled for some reason.

Does that mean you have to make macros for every spell you wanna use on your focus target?

Yes

Code:
/fcast Heal

is like

Code:
/cast [target=focus] Heal
