Spontaneous PUGs

There are a lot of spontaneous pugs at the moment too (ZG, AQ20, MC, BWL), at least on alliance side. Many of them are announced on Discord - so just install the official Discord app on your mobile phone, click this link and turn on notifications for #pug-alliance in the app:

https://discord.gg/2swsp9R

(...original VG Discord thread: https://vanillagaming.org/forum/index.php?topic=22621)

If any of you have updates, information about new pugs etc. please post them in this thread! I will constantly update this sticky.

Old original post:

Hello together!

Being a former intensive vanilla WoW-player (....about 12yrs ago) and now a more casual returning player, I really love VG!

Besides all (maybe sometimes valid) complaints here in the forum, I really have to say that VG is exactly was I was looking for: fast leveling, really great endgame scripting and a nice helping community all around it.

Right now I'm at a state where more or less I don't need any more lvl 60-instance items and focussing on gearing in the first raids.

I think it would be really nice to have a constantly updated overview about Pug-Raids here in the forum. I think this would help the more casual players as well as the hosters to not always search for hours to get the raid full.

What do you guys think? If you know any pug raids please post them here. Needed info would be just which raid, day, time (server time pls!), hoster and if its alliance or horde side.

Edit:
This is the PUG shedule so frar from all ur answers (will update it when new info arrives):

Alliance:
Monday - BiS MC PuG, 1900 Eastern Standard Time (NA)
Saturday - Walfudge MC+BWL+Onyxia, 1500 Server Time (EU)
Saturday - BiS MC PuG, 1300 Eastern Standard Time (NA)
Sunday - BiS BWL PuG, 1400 Eastern Standard Time (NA)

Horde:
Monday - Suecia BWL PuG, 1930 ST (EU)
Wednesday - Hornagaur MC PuG, 1930 ST (EU)

Almost every 40 man pug happens on weekends, whilst you can see 20 man pugs going on every other day.

There should really be a list of repeating PuGs on VG so people can know when to log. The ones I know for sure on VG are:

Alliance:
Monday - BiS MC PuG, 1900 Eastern Standard Time (NA)
Saturday - Walfudge MC+BWL+Onyxia, 1500 Server Time (EU)
Saturday - BiS MC PuG, 1300 Eastern Standard Time (NA)
Sunday - BiS BWL PuG, 1400 Eastern Standard Time (NA)

Horde:
Monday - Suecia BWL PuG, 1930 ST (EU)
Wednesday - Hornagaur MC PuG, 1930 ST (EU)

Feel free to quote and add the ones I missed. I tend to forget them myself.

Thx for the infos guys!

Eastern stadard time is which servertime?

Server Time and Standard Time don't necessarily align at all. The NA PuGs generally end up starting around 0030-0200 Server Time.

PuGs time schedule sounds like a cool idea for players (especially new ones) if its handled right and updated quickly as new posts are coming.

I am able to pin your topic as soon as you edit your first post with pug informations already posted by the players above.

Being a PUG-raider at this time, I experienced that the new Discord server is a usefull addition.

The raids listed above and also some other spontaneous PUG-raids are announced there too, so one has the chance to get this information even if you are not online.

Here is the thread about the discord server: https://vanillagaming.org/forum/index.php?topic=22621.msg172079#msg172079
If you simply want to join: https://discord.gg/2swsp9R

I think its a real good idea and a useful addition to the forums.

/push, I just updated the overview in the first posting.

If you have any news about pugs - every info is welcome, helping to get the raids full.

Also: please make use of the discord channel! This (is the only) way you can reach players that are not ingame too!

This Friday (18/05/2018) will be my last AQ40 pug, because of work. The Sunday 12:00 MC will most likely remain and the BWL for Wednesdays will remain, for now. As mentioned my schedule is in flux and if you want to know if something is happening the current week then you are best of asking me in game.

Meanwhile Chess has to host 2x aq20 at the same time because the demand was so high on alliance.

Not even gonna meme. It would be super If there was incentive to reroll horde to make it a bit even. I know factionchange won't happen. I can always hope for something like free mount skills when creating new H char or something along those lines. Hell even free skills would maybe lure more to roll horde

Yes, the time listed on here is not correct for the BiS MC pug on Monday. Superdowns/Hecks run this BiS MC pug every Monday at around 01:45 ST.

I think there is a different MC pug at EU times on Monday as well, cannot confirm. But the BiS one is at NA times.

You can also change the Sunday BiS bwl pug to Thursday at 01:45 ST.

So far there are no PuGs or guild raids starting around 20:30/21:00h ST. This really is a pity because I know that there are many VG players (like me too) which have kids and can't praticipate at earlier times.
If some of the PuGs (or new ones) would shift a little to that time I'm pretty sure a whole bunch of additional players would participate.

All quiet Horde side. I'd volunteer to lead some PuGs but it just doesn't seem like we have the numbers for the more advanced stuff.

From now onwards there'll be BWL pug on Saturday's at 14:30 ST on Alliance side, we'll see how the pug goes and we might even add MC afterwards. You can just check world chat from time to time and see the rules and requirements of the run.

Might resume Sunday BWL PuGs in the near future.

we have posted in the Naxxramas thread here on the forums for each naxxpug thats been hosted, thats about it, its not something that happens every week etc, planning it 2-3 weeks in advance each time when we know we can get someone to raidlead.
