BigWigs is a boss encounter add-on. It consists of many individual encounter scripts, or boss modules; mini add-ons that are designed to trigger alert messages, timer bars and sounds.

Inside KTM i fixed the assistent and raid leader check (everyone could set mastertarget and thread wipe). Added support for BigWigs VG automatic master target and threat wipe.
No changes have been made to thread calculations.

For installation just delete your old BigWigs or BigWigsVG in your World of Warcraft\Interface\Addons folder and unzip the new folders in there.

2)Whenever i use command /bwcb for any stuff like /bwcb 30 fear inc, "fear inc" is also being wrote in /s chat.

If you are raiding with BigWigs VG you should get KTM 17.36. As i sayed thread calculation is the same but some functions for auto master target and reset have been added.

Basically every encounter where you need thread wipe or adds in the fight:

Venoxis (master target when pulling)
Marli (master target when pulling)
Broodlord (master target and reset when pulling boss)
Chromaggus (reset after using time lapse)
Thaddius (reset after throw)
Nefarian (reset and mastertarget when phase2 beginns)
Twins (reset on teleport)

You really deserve the Tester title, i forgot to delete some debug functions here. fixed it and reuploaded the zip. Link in first post is still right

Chromaggus (reset after using time lapse)


Mind specifiying how was chromaggus's time lapse scripted? Does KTM reset before or after the breath is done?
And the 2nd most important question is: Does it only reset KTM if time lapse comes as the first breath when the encounter starts or also if it's the 2nd?

On VG time lapse resets threat only if it's the first breath cast of the two, also the threat dump comes at the same time when he starts casting, rather than finishing casting the breath.

Currently it resets on every time lapse cast, we found this the savest way. I will implement the only-reset-if-2nd-breath in the next release.

Atleast i can confirm working 100% on MC bosses will check out in Naxx nd other instances on raid days :)
Even i had timer for healing ability of adds on sulf :p

Tested on abom wing bosses:
Naxxramas:
Abom Wing bosses:
[ x ] Patchwerk - Working correctly.
[ x ] Grobbulus - Working correctly.
[ x ] Gluth       - Working correctly except few things.
1)The dectimate timer after 1st one is 10 sec delay i mean like it shows up after 10 sec.(Just minor fix i assume).
2)The frenzy timer is 8 sec while gluth is being frenzy for 6 sec, And it ends up at 2 secs.Might make problem maybe if you just make it 6 sec instead tho it will work with 8 sec as well.(Just mentioning that dont think it should count as bugg).
[ x ] Thaddius - Working correctly.

I will check out rest of bosses as well :)

Tested on plague wing bosses:

[ x ] Noth the Plaguebringer - First blink timer right from start of fight is like 2-3 second delay.(Like blink happens after 2-3 second when timer goes off).
The second blink timer is like 2 second early on timer.

thanks for your testing, this really helps out saving time to test every single boss/ability

decimate timer: my intention was to "hide" the timer so ppl can concentrate on aoeing adds
fixed the frenzy bar, now 6 8sec (tested on testserver)

some bars are not 100% accurate, thats the nature of VG, for instance the blinks timer is not a real timer but a "cooldown" so its ready to use after a specific ammount of time. i tried to make the raid warnings to look like "~5 sec to blink" instead of "5sec to blink"

Tried it today in naxx. Everything worked perfect, except:

Noths first Blink.

Anub's first Locust swarm.

Also after we kille Fearlina I had the icon of Rain of Fire up in mid screen long after the boss was dead. I had to /rl to get rid of it, no biggie. I think it was due to adds being alive when Fearlina got killed then got MC to be sacrificed


Nevertheless, it is a great addon and IM ever so gratefull! Very good job.

Same mechanics for blink, afaik Luise is right, his ability gets back on cooldown but doesn't mean he uses it straight away.

On timer I noticed was a bit off, by roughly 3 seconds, is the second wave of adds during Noth's teleport.

Yeah Im not sure but it seems the first of those 2 are abit random. Espacially Locust swarm. We always scream to make the melee's ready 10 sec before the timer says its about to happen. This from as far back as I can remember, prob nothign you can fix. And afaik its the same with Noth's first blink, its always somewhat incorrect.

The RoF Icon is quite annoying for "good" players since it lasts for about 5 secs. on the other side for stlacking ppl its a big indicator that you have to move

Would a global option to disable it completely for every boss be ok?

was just on my way to say teh same. The Supreme timers seems good. Its the thunderclap thats off in my experiance

Its 29-30~ first fear right when we engage him :P

Really awesome addon, works perfectly for what I've seen so far. Just one thing .....the icon is horrible. But I found the perfect solution for it  :-*

World Bosses and Onyxia are still missing

Also i cant figure out the timer after Cthun weakening phase for giant eye and claw (small eyes are working)

That reminds me, I noticed that Noth's 2nd wave of adds is off by roughly 3 seconds.
Sartura's WW timers seem a bit off too, sorry tho I can't provide more accuracy.

I think Noths timer is off by 5sec, just as old BigWigs were. On the second wave of skeles during Teleport phase.

I removed all the extra modules from the original BigWigs, you can savely delete all BigWigs* folders except BigWigsVG

Currently i have no motivation to fix the module, makeing a whisper macro should not be that hard for naxx healers

New version not working for few people.
Atleast some of friends has same error like me the game doesnt read the addon at all.
Like no bigwigs is there.

Clearing WTF folder out of old BigWigs VG cache fix the issue.

No, it doesnt.

Check this vid at 06:20.
First mindcontrol happens at 06:24, hitting Liket and Turr for example.
Both stay in KTM's top10.

Releasing version 19015!

Changelog:
- fixed threat wipe on KT chains... previously every player wipes his threat even though he wasn't affected. Now this is checked via the combat log message "You are afflicted by Chains of Kel'Thuzad"  duh

- Implemented delayed Frostblast warning bar which will show if last frostbolt happened more than 30secs ago. Bar will be hidden again upon the next Frostblast in raid.

You should make sure that all your Ace2 Addons are running the same version... I had major hiccups with that too :/
