Player name "Wallpaper" - lvl 60 Orc. Camped my body for several kills and a very long time in Duskwood as of 19th of February.
My character was at the tie lvl 35-ish.

What the hell??
The guy ganked me every time I got up. What am I suppost to do? He kills me in two or three hits and I was only out mining.

If this kind of bad play continues I will leave the server and I will sure as hell spread the word of high lvl players camping low lvl players for no reason at all.

I find this kind of behavior unacceptable!

Gave him a warning

Killing players numerous times while they are helpless to defend themselves is considered camping, you may kill a player once or twice but then you need to move on or let them move on.  Continuously killing a player helpless to defend themselves can lead to a suspension.

Killing players is fine and yes you could get in trouble for camping on pvp servers, there is not always a gm around so you can still get away with it but if proof comes out or there is a gm around you can get in trouble, same as retail, you can pvp but you may not make people quit playing. If you think that blizzard allowed people to stop others from playing the game you are wrong, killing players until they have no option but to stop playing is not allowed and no way did blizzard allow you to do that to a paying customer.

PVP servers were not the same as other servers. Which is pretty obivous.
I had 380k Kills B4 TBC came out, peaked r14. When a r14 is ganking lowbies and camping them for days. It's a known fact.
Never there was a single warning or anything.
NOBODY is making them quit but themselfes.
Ppl like him would go to other server pve, roleplay w/e i dont care.
But this is a pvp server and I didn't know of a SINGLE case in all my retail where some1 was warned/banned for camping low lvl players on a PVP SERVER.
Fact.

Which i woulda done if bored like i once was.

Erm,Nowhere in the rules says it's not allowed to camp people, true it does ruin the experience and is unequal to the camped player, however I don't find this to be fair to Wallpaper (who just might did not knew camping is not allowed because it doesn't say anywhere in the rules) due to the fact you gave him a warning which is based on a rule that isn't implemented within the VG rules. If this warning is absolutely necessary as you state, then you should Implement the rule at Sins forum and game rules.Just a statement.

Well if this BULLCRAP becomes part of the rules then pls change server to PVE.
Otherwise don't punish ppl that r playing WITHIN the RULES of the PVP SERVER.
Just horrible, horrible.

I do agree with Les,this is infact a PvP server after all, punishing people for camping ( which is not even implemented in the rules that it's forbidden) is completely unlogical.

There was actually no recorded punishment for "Corpse Camping" low level players. Servers were usually quite occupied with enough players to come and help for that kind of situation. I'm sure if you look around or ask someone nearby e.g. SW, STV etc they would have been happy to help.

I'm not saying that this type of behaviour is deemed acceptable, but only morons run around at such levels corpse camping players like yourself.

Maybe next time this occurs, don't waste your time, try wasting his time by taking your dog for a walk or something, take 10 minutes out. They will eventually get tired and move on.

It's not moronic, its the nature of pvp.
And even if it was moronic, it's by far less moronic then u trolling ppl in world chat and w/e.
Where do u get the balls to call some1 a moron astounds me.

These are quotes from a blizzard rep concerning camping on a pvp server. They do say true they do not always get involved but they do from time to time.

http://www.wowblues.com/us/banned-for-pvping-on-a-pvp-server-9336871394.html

I will say this, though: Being on a PvP realm is not a "Get Out of Jail Free" card. Should one consistently and maliciously harass another player—or zone—in-game for an extended period of time, we may indeed interfere. Such a move by our department is very rare, though, and absolutely dependent on context.

The ability to interfere should behavior be egregious enough—yes, even on a PvP realm—has always been in effect. The act is just so rare that it's usually not a staple of conversation.

Not at all. There is a difference between 2 hours, 2 days, and 2 weeks. There's a difference between hindering one player's game play through "corpse camping"—as is usual on a PvP realm—and completely annihilating progression within a lower-level zone for an extended period of time.

The key, as I mentioned, is context. We have no desire to disrupt the flow of normal PvP unless a player's actions are contributing so negatively that the spirit of the game is in jeopardy.

Also blizzard TOU states
http://us.blizzard.com/en-us/company/legal/wow_tou.html

BLIZZARD MAY SUSPEND, TERMINATE, MODIFY, OR DELETE ANY BNET ACCOUNT OR WORLD OF WARCRAFT ACCOUNT AT ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON OR FOR NO REASON, WITH OR WITHOUT NOTICE TO YOU.

But from what I remember from the original game was that blizzard was still playing with the rules a bit, they did do things like suspend for camping on pvp servers, they also suspended for things like exploring, climbing buildings, stealing from players, and others. True they did not get involved a lot, but they did get involved. It was just necessary at certain times to maintain the game environment.  It was a way of saying if you wanted to play controversially you do it at your own risk.
