A democratic guild sounds good, but the bylaws look like a blueprint for an Oligarchy or a form of neopatrimonialism.
Furthermore, if it is a democratic guild, then this part of the Rules is worrying:
"A. Casuals: No duty to raid, they are the object of universal scorn and contempt."
This defames a group of people from the start and encourages Aversion against, and mental mistreatment of those.
The sub-rule to this doesn't help the problem either:
"1. Casuals get: nothing, and like it."
This means that every guildmember above casuals will assume that the casual likes to be mistreated and bullied and leaves the casual helpless against those attacks since the discrimination is backed up by the guild rules, further aggravating the situation.
This kind of behavior is most commonly seen in autocratic or dictatorial forms of government (also in others ofc). So seeing this as the first line in the Rank rules which picture the social structures of the guild completely contradicts the statement of being a democratic guild.
For the casuals!
