Title: Live Update 2016-08-01

The following changes and fixes went live last update :

Note : This was just a database update, so fixes (other than direct, which is indicated in the respective per-date changelogs) made by Zeard are not included. A Core LU will follow as soon as possible.

-Quests :

*Fixed quest Pyrewood ambush, the mobs will now spawn within correct waves and attack you and Deathstalker Faerleia as supposed.
*Quest "The Missing Diplomat" (part 11) now requires you to defeat npc "Tapoke Jahn"
*Quest "The Missing Diplomat" now spawns a hostile Private Hendel upon acceptance and requires you to defeat him
*Spawned npc "Connon Rivers" in his correct location @ stormwind, quest "James Hyal" can now be obtained.
*Quests "Humbert's Sword" and "Souvenirs of Death" are now horde quests as supposed.
*If you delete your Standard Issue Flare Gun from the quest "Signal for pickup" you can now properly obtain another one from the repeatable version which opens up after completing the original.
*Quest "Rise , Obsidion!" is now properly scripted, contains all dialogue and creature spawns / despawns.
*Craftman's Writ quests no longer duplicate the source item upon accepting the quest.
*Helcular's remains now spawn to wreak havoc on southshore after completing the quest "Helcular's Revenge"
*Horde Warsong gulch repeatable quests no longer reward gold
*Quest "The Perfect Stout" is now obtainable from Rejold Barleybrew after completing quest "Rejod's New Brew"
*Eliza now correctly spawns from the quest "Digging Through the Dirt" when quest "Bride of the Embalmer" is active.
*Quest "Craftman's Writ" no longer bugs when repeated
*Fixed quest Disharmony of Flame now correctly leads to Disharmony of Fire and completing either doesnt disable the other.
*Fixed quest grouping of A taste of Flame quests
*Components of Importance quests no longer leads directly to one More components of Importance quests
*Zaricotl now properly drops the item "Corroded Black Box"
*Sha'ni Proudtusk now correctly spawns upon clickin her remains for the quest "Dreadmaul Rock"
*Quest "Broken Alliances" is now properly listed as Elite quest.
*Lord Kragaru now properly drops the correct quest items for their respective quests.
*Gameobject "Resonite Cask" now properly spawns the npc "Goggeroc" when infused with "Enchanted Resonite Crystal" for quest "Earthen Arise"
*Quest "Winterfall Activity" now requires correct amount of creatures slain and yields correct rewards.
*Quest "Bonescythe legplates" can only be taken by rogues from now on.
*Mortality Wanes is now completable
*You now need to kill creature "Morbent fel" to complete the quest "Morbent fel". Morbent fel now also has his shield up, but it cannot be currently dispelled , zeard needs to fix the spell function. (report : http://vanillagaming.org/forum/index.php?topic=19182.0)
*Quest "Digging Through the Dirt" now correctly spawns Eliza instead of her being world spawned. (report : http://vanillagaming.org/forum/index.php?topic=19177.0)
*Removed incorrect progress text from quest "Jitters Growling Gut" (report : http://vanillagaming.org/forum/index.php?topic=19175.0)

*Forlorn Spirits are now spawned upon opening "Old footlocker" and "Sealed Crate" in relation to quest chain "The Legend of Stalvan" (report http://vanillagaming.org/forum/index.php?topic=19173.0)
*Removed incorrect progress text from quest "Raven Hill" (report : http://vanillagaming.org/forum/index.php?topic=19168.0)
*fixed level requirement of Assisting Arch Druid Runetotem: Now higher

-Npcs(Misc, world, summoned) :

*Stalvan Mistmantle now properly says one of his 3 on aggro dialogue quotes.
*Hyacinth Macaw has now proper speed
*Ozzie Togglevolt visuals are fixed
*Siamese cat now follows the player around as intended
*Spawned npc "Connon Rivers" in his correct location @ stormwind, quest "James Hyal" can now be obtained.
*The humans of Pyrewood will now turn into Moonrage worgens during the night.
*fixed spawntimers of Kazzak and Azuregos to be shorter
*Added mini event to Southshore with southshore town crier spawning every 2 hours to be attacked by 2 shadowy assassins which drop "Assassin's Contract" that starts a quest of the same name.
*Sethir the Ancient now summons his minions upon aggro.
*Macey Jinglepocket sells beer in Ironforge now
*fixes to the behaviour of Rock Stalker: No longer casting when CC'd
*fixed Argent Sentrys attacking innocent players at rare occassions

-Dire Maul :

*You can now buy beer from Stomper_Kreeg (limited quantity)
*Mizzle the Crafty announces you as new King and even shoots his firework!
*spawned some Warpwood Pots throughout some parts of the instance
*also fixed warpwood pots' loottable so they contain loot now

-Naxxramas :

*a functional change to the first patrol in the Deathknight Wing to make it easier to pull, but maintaining the need of a good timing
*fixed mob chainments in the spider pit

-Temple of Ahn'Qiraj :

*Adjusted speed of Battleguard Sartura and her adds.
*Chained Sartura and her adds.
*fixed aggro range of Princess Huhuran: now bigger
*Ouro now ignores the tank that is under effect of Sand Blast as supposed
*fixed some weird aggro glitches on Qiraji Mindslayer and Qiraji Brainwasher
*immunities of Eye of C'thun updated
*some improvements to Eye Tentacle's behaviour (e.g. lasting until killed)
*some "patrol packs" repositioned, so they are no longer skipable

-Rogue :

*fixed Aggression only affecting Sinister Strike and Eviscerate

-Blacking Lair :

*fixed bomb throwing of Blackwing Technicians: they now choose their target by the correct pattern
*fixed Death Talon Wyrmguards Broodpower: Green. Aggro loss and gain is working as supposed now.

-Molten Core :

*Garr and his adds now move arround

-Gnomeregan :

*fixed Dark Iron Agent's Land Mine

-Scarlet Monastery :

*rescripted Houndmaster Loksey, no more highlevel adds now
*full rescript including some script fixes to Mograine and Whitemane encounter

-Razorfen Downs :

*Death's Head Necromancers' adds are now on a proper level
*Tuten'Kash's room will now be easier to clear due to the event not starting off so easily

-Alterac Valley :

*Stormpike Guardsman in AV now properly wield their swords and shields
*Some lieutenants in AV now have their proper equipment
*Stormpike and Frostwolf npcs in Alterac Valley now reward reputation upon kill.

-Items :  

*Hyacinth Macaw has now proper speed
*fixed Bonereaver's Edge Proc Rate
*fixed Annihilators proc rate
*fine tuned Thunderfurys proc rate
*Item "Ensorcelled Parchment" is now properly contained in "Worn Wooden Chest" located at Alterac Mountains.
*Firestone can now be equipped in its correct invetory slot (Held in Off-hand).

-Warlock :

*fixed Destructive Reach Soul Fire

-Druid :

*fixed casttime-reducements of Starfire
*fixed casttime-reducements of Wrath

-Misc (world objects , events, npcs) :


*fixed spawntimers of Kazzak and Azuregos to be shorter
*Added mini event to Southshore with southshore town crier spawning every 2 hours to be attacked by 2 shadowy assassins which drop "Assassin's Contract" that starts a quest of the same name.
*Fel creep and Tainted Vitriol no longer appear in most nodes outside Felwood
*some fixes to soft instance respawns. Now applied more broadly
*Macey Jinglepocket sells beer in Ironforge now
*fixes to the behaviour of Rock Stalker: No longer casting when CC'd
*fixed Argent Sentrys attacking innocent players at rare occassions

Great fixes!
Would it be possible to fix suppression room respawning after Broodlord is dead and apply that with the incoming core update?

Does this mean that the World buffs linked to the King Status are now obtainable ?

Also: Are the fixes to Mobs/Bosses irgnoring their CC'd tank global or will they only affect the ones mentioned ?

Does this mean that the World buffs linked to the King Status are now obtainable ?

No, the buffs aren't working as supposed as of now.

These are database fixes, most class bugs are Core related I think.

around 14%, devs made the mistake of trusting testers with false data.

Seems i forgot to change few nodes, and there was apparently no testing done, changed the changelog text to fel creep and tainted vitriol no longer appear in most nodes outside felwood

Extra lu of small scale will be performed within 1-3 days to sort out this and portal trainers issue

Ive started investigation over the tf proc rate issue and of the people involved in its change. There is a possible change to it with the hotfix lu tonight.

The underlying problem with the tf procs is the main and offhand proccing each other. The issue can only be resolved with Z fixing that. Still, it was notibly too high for basically everybody hence the nerf.

After Z did his fix, we can set the ppm rate again, which will be correct for both, 1handed and 2handed use.

So basically you made a workaround fix for a completely different problem, hurting 1 handed tf users like tanks way more than 2h users, while ignoring the problem the initial bug raises for pretty much every weapon and proc based trinket in the game ? If zeards needs to fix the issue with proc's activating of different sources other than the intended one, I am failing to understand why you implemented a workaround on tf, while leaving every other item benefiting from this bug untouched.

As its an item that gives major advantage in pvp and pve thus higher impact on blizzlikeness of the gaming experience thus changing it like this till zeard fixes those bugs is by our evaluation the solution least harmful to blizzlike gaming balance.

Theres no compareable item with similar impact thus others were not altered. Z is to fix these bugs as soon as he comes back and then with our new direct form of updating the db also which comes live tonight we can alter these values at haste without need for lu.

I fully agree, these other items are a lot more accessable by the players. Therefor not fixing them will damage the blizzlikeness and balance a lot more than the few players with thunderfury, which are mostly pve tanks, using tf for thread, ever could. For said tanks the previous state of tf was only slightly stronger than a blizzlike tf because of their 1 handed use of tf.

Proc trinkets and MSA work fine. MSA is the one weapon who's procs should multiply because of an ,, Equip: " effect.
